Boca Juniors holds player trials in Ushuaia

Club Atlético Boca Juniors is conducting player trials in Ushuaia, Argentina, at the Hugo Lumbreras municipal stadium. Approximately 600 young players from Ushuaia, Río Grande, and Tolhuin are participating in the scouting event.

The trials are being led by club scout Emiliano Gallo. The schedule includes various age categories: the first day featured the 2013, 2017, and 2018 categories; Wednesday covers the 2011, 2012, 2015, and 2016 categories; and Thursday will conclude with the 2010 and 2014 categories.

The Ushuaia Municipality, through the Municipal Sports Institute (IMD), is supporting the event to provide local youth with opportunities to showcase their skills to one of the country’s major football clubs. Liliana Gavilán, secretary of the IMD, noted the high turnout despite rainy conditions during the initial sessions.
