Boca Juniors intensifies transfer talks for Romaña, Villa and Zeballos

Boca Juniors is negotiating the possible departure of winger Exequiel Zeballos, who has spent 11 years at the club. Italian side Napoli showed early interest, and now Fiorentina is reported to be monitoring the player. Zeballos' release clause is set at €20 million, but Boca expects a fee around half that amount.

The club is also in advanced talks for centre‑back Jhohan Romaña from San Lorenzo. Boca reportedly offered US$3 million, which was rejected, and Romaña has indicated a desire to move abroad. Additionally, Boca has lodged a US$6 million bid for forward Sebastián Villa, whose registration belongs to Independiente Rivadavia; the Argentine club expects the full €7 million clause plus taxes to be paid.

Boca’s management expects the outcomes of these negotiations to be decided within the coming days, aiming to complete the signings before the transfer window closes.
