Boca Juniors manager praises goalkeeper Javier García

Following a victory against Estudiantes in the Torneo Clausura, Boca Juniors manager Rodolfo Arruabarrena highlighted the importance of goalkeeper Javier García to the squad's dynamics.

Despite not playing regularly in recent matches, Arruabarrena praised García's leadership and influence within the locker room, stating, “Paredes is our captain, but by virtues or performance, anyone can be captain. I am not going to discover anything, Javi García is very important in the group... He is a support for us in a lot of situations.”

García, a product of Boca's youth academy, has made 75 official appearances across two stints with the club (2008–2011 and 2020–present). He has been part of seven official title wins, including the Torneo Apertura 2008, Recopa Sudamericana 2008, and the 2022 Liga Profesional.
