Boca Juniors moves home match vs Estudiantes to Huracán’s stadium

Boca Juniors announced that its upcoming home game against Estudiantes de La Plata will be played at Huracán’s Tomás Adolfo Ducó stadium. The relocation is required because renovation and a structural drainage project on the La Bombonera pitch were delayed by recent heavy rains, leaving the playing surface unsuitable. The club noted that the condition of the grass had already caused problems in a recent Copa Sudamericana match against O'Higgins.

The Argentine Professional League confirmed the change, and the match – the second date of the Torneo Clausura – is scheduled for 5 August at 19:00. Boca indicated that the move to Huracán’s venue will give the necessary time to complete the works, and warned that if the repairs are not finished, future fixtures such as the game against Vélez and a Copa Sudamericana round‑of‑16 could also be affected.
