Boca Juniors raises offer for Colombian forward Sebastián Villa, awaits Independiente Rivadavia response

Boca Juniors has submitted a second, formal offer to acquire Colombian striker Sebastián Villa from Independiente Rivadavia after the club rejected an earlier bid. The first proposal, reportedly around four million dollars and involving player exchanges such as Marcelo Weigandt, fell short of Independiente Rivadavia’s valuation, which the club places at eight to nine million dollars, just below a previously set ten‑million‑dollar release clause.

Villa, who previously spent five seasons with Boca from mid‑2018 to 2023, logged 172 official matches, scored 29 goals, provided 32 assists and won seven titles. Boca hopes to secure his return for the second half of the season, while Independiente Rivadavia maintains a firm stance, indicating it will only release the forward if the revised offer meets its price expectations.
