Boca Juniors signs Leandro Lozano and promotes Lautaro Di Lollo as defenders

Boca Juniors announced the acquisition of right‑back Leandro Lozano from Argentinos Juniors for a reported US$3.5 million. The defender will undergo a medical exam on 22 June and, pending clearance, sign a four‑year contract running to December 2029, providing competition for Dylan Gorosito in the full‑back role.

Separately, the club confirmed that 20‑year‑old central defender Lautaro Di Lollo will start against Atlético Tucumán, filling in for the injured Marcos Rojo. Di Lollo, a product of Boca’s academy who renewed his contract until December 2028, has previously featured in youth continental tournaments and is being positioned as a key option in the back line amid other injuries to the defensive roster.
