Boca Juniors target midfield and striker signings in transfer window

Boca Juniors are active in the Argentine summer market, seeking to bolster both midfield and attack. Coach Rodolfo Arruabarrena has identified Tomás Belmonte as a key replacement for the departing Mikel Amondarain, with interest also coming from Estudiantes de La Plata and Brazil's Atlético Mineiro.

At the same time Boca are negotiating for Belgrano forward Lucas Passerini after injuries have left striker Adam Bareiro unavailable and limited options such as Miguel Merentiel and Milton Giménez on the sidelines. The club also mentioned Nicolás “Uvita” Fernández as a possible alternative.

These moves aim to improve squad depth ahead of a congested schedule in the Copa Sudamericana and domestic competitions.
