Boca Juniors targets key reinforcements for 2027 season

Boca Juniors is actively planning its squad reinforcements for the 2027 season. Club president Juan Román Riquelme and coach Rodolfo Arruabarrena are targeting several players to strengthen the roster.

In defense, the club is considering Valentín Gómez, currently at Real Betis, as a primary option for a loan deal. Other defensive candidates being analyzed include Nehuén Pérez from Porto, as well as Francisco Álvarez, Ignacio Vázquez, and Santiago Núñez.

For the midfield, Riquelme is reportedly negotiating for Matías Galarza from Talleres de Córdoba. While Arruabarrena has suggested other players such as Jabes Saralegui, the club is moving forward with discussions regarding Galarza, a move that may involve a transfer fee of approximately six million dollars.
