Bochnia Municipality Launches Tour de Zawada Bike Rally

On Saturday, 18 July at 15:00, the Gmina Bochnia will host the tenth edition of the Tour de Zawada bike rally. The event, aimed at promoting physical activity and a healthy lifestyle, starts and finishes at the LZS Polanka sports field in Nieszkowice Wielkie and follows a 15‑kilometre loop through Zawada, Gierczyce, Czyżyczka and Pogwizdów. Registration is limited to 400 participants, with over 300 already signed up, and additional on‑site registration is possible if spots remain.

After the race, a festivity begins at 20:00 with a DJ, and a family picnic with children’s attractions is scheduled for Sunday, 20 July at 15:00 on the same sports field. The rally is supported by numerous local sponsors and organized by the LZS Polanka sports club, the local Housewives’ Circle, and the villages of Nieszkowice Wielkie, Wola Nieszkowska and Zawada, with backing from the Bochnia municipal authority and the municipal cultural centre.
