Bochnia students participate in Erasmus+ project in Italy

Students from the Second Secondary School (II LO) in Bochnia, Poland, participated in an Erasmus+ project titled ‘Learning through Experience,’ which received over 93,000 euros in EU funding. The initiative involved 46 students and eight teachers who traveled to Pesaro, Italy, for a two-week stay.

During the program, students engaged in workshops with local Italian peers, shared Polish culture, and practiced using foreign languages in real-world scenarios, such as following professional instructions and collaborating on group tasks.

Other educational institutions in the Bochnia district are also expanding international mobility. For the 2025/2026 school year, School Complex No. 3 in Bochnia has recruited 36 students for internships in Italy, with additional opportunities available in Greece and Malta. These programs emphasize the importance of practical language competence, including the use of industry-specific terminology during vocational training.
