Bochum Stadtwerke-Halbmarathon sees 4,431 participants

The Stadtwerke-Halbmarathon in Bochum concluded with approximately 4,431 participants across various race categories, including the half-marathon, 5km and 10km runs, and student races. Organizers reported a 9% increase in participants compared to the previous year.

Tobias Middendorf of Hamburg Running won the men's half-marathon with a time of 1:08:47. Organizers noted that the increased security levels and early city center closures were effective, despite ten individuals requiring medical attention for circulatory issues due to the heat.
