Boda Borg adventure park opens in Bochum
Boda Borg, an adventure park concept combining elements of escape rooms and team-building events, has opened its first German location in the Ruhr Park in Bochum as of May 2024.
Teams of three to five people participate in various missions known as “quests.” These quests consist of interconnected rooms that function like levels in a video game, requiring physical agility, cleverness, or coordination to progress. Tasks include climbing, hanging, and problem-solving across diverse themes such as jungles, prisons, and pharaoh tombs.
The facility spans over 3,000 square meters and offers more than 23 different quests. Visitors book time rather than individual quests, allowing them to attempt multiple challenges during their session. The concept originated in Sweden in the mid-1990s and has since expanded to locations in Ireland, Switzerland, and the United States.
