Boda Medical hosts pickleball charity event for rural children in Hualien

Boda Medical partnered with the World Peace Foundation to host the ‘Pickle Boat – Hualien Maiden Voyage’ charity event on September 19 at the Yichang Junior High School activity center in Hualien. The initiative introduced children from rural areas to pickleball, providing professional coaching on rules, paddle handling, and striking techniques.

To support long-term engagement, Boda Medical provided participants with sports kits containing paddles, balls, and covers. Additionally, the company donated NT$200,000 to the World Peace Foundation to fund ongoing charitable projects for children in need. Boda Medical General Manager Wang Ya-fang stated that the goal is to provide children with opportunities to explore new interests and build confidence through diverse experiences.
