Bodega Spania in Rio welcomes fans for World Cup final

The Bodega Spania restaurant in the Anchieta neighbourhood of Rio de Janeiro will open its doors on Sunday, 19 December, to host supporters of the Spanish national team for the World Cup final against Argentina. The venue will broadcast the match on large screens and offer a special menu that blends Spanish and Brazilian flavors, including live‑cooked paella, pulpo a la gallega, calamares, sangria, churros with doce de leite and a Brazilian‑style barbecue. A flamenco dance performance and a kids‑area are also planned to create a festive atmosphere that celebrates both football and Iberian culture.

The event aims to give fans an immersive experience of Spanish cuisine and traditions while they cheer for a title Spain has not won in 16 years.
