Boden and Luleå report property sales, forest fire alert and workplace injuries

Several real‑estate transactions were completed in northern Sweden this morning. In Boden, Peter Bjurström and Anna Linda Linnéa Kvenå s bought two properties for 250,000 kr, while a house on Buddbyvägen 3 changed hands for 1.8 million kr. In Moskosel, 29‑year‑old Rasmus Wallin purchased a house for 200,000 kr, and in Seskarö a house on Kyrkvägen 8 was bought for 280,000 kr. Additional sales were reported in Arvidsjaur, Piteå and other localities.

Local safety incidents also made headlines. A forest fire alarm prompted rescue services to respond to a wooded area east of Kaunisvaara in Pajala municipality. At the SSAB steel plant in Luleå, four workers suffered chemical burns after exposure to sodium hydroxide; two required medical attention and the incident was reported to the Work Environment Authority. Elsewhere, a secret pre‑season team‑building event was organised by Luleå Hockey, and traffic on the E45 was halted due to a wildlife‑vehicle collision.

Business activity continued with Lund & Lund Skogsmaskiner i Granberget AB announcing its forestry‑entrepreneurial services, and a 29‑year‑old launching a new construction firm, Mvj Bygg AB, focusing on house building and renovations.
