Boden Handboll IF eliminates Atlético Guardés from EHF European League

Atlético Guardés has been eliminated from the EHF European League following a 31-26 defeat against Sweden's Boden Handboll IF. The decisive second leg of the Round 2 matchup was held at the A Sangriña pavilion.

Despite strong individual performances from Cecilia Cacheda and María Palomo, who each scored four goals, and contributions from Rosane Serrano and Blazka Hauptman, the Spanish side could not overcome the physical strength and defensive intensity of the Swedish team. Boden's Mia Lagumdzija led the scoring with eight goals, supported by Carla Thomsen, Ida Lindlöf, and Frida Höglund.
