Bodenmais hiking trail named Germany’s most beautiful

The Wilde-Wasser-Weg in Bodenmais has been named Germany’s most beautiful hiking trail. The 12-kilometer route, which connects the Rißloch waterfalls and the Hochfall, won the title in the day tour category of a selection conducted by the magazine ‘Wandermagazin’.

Spanning four to five hours, the trail passes through mixed forests, rock formations, and streams. Tobias Wolf, managing director of Bodenmais Tourismus- und Marketing GmbH, stated that the award serves as both an honor and a mandate to continue developing the region's extensive hiking offerings. The official award ceremony is scheduled for October 10.
