Bodhi Charlton earns Melbourne scholarship for AFL career

Bodhi Charlton, a 16-year-old student from Ulladulla High School, has secured a two-year scholarship at Brighton Grammar School in Melbourne to further his Australian football career. The scholarship follows Charlton's standout performance at the Marsh AFL National Development Championships held on the Gold Coast.

Representing the Giants Academy, Charlton helped lead his team to an undefeated campaign and the Pool B title after defeating the Gold Coast Suns Academy 72 to 57 in the final. Charlton was the competition's leading goalkicker, recording eight majors during the tournament. This victory marked the first time a Giants Academy team has won a Division Two national championship.
