Bodmin community facility seeks extension for youth services

The community organization managing The Space in Bodmin is seeking planning permission from Cornwall Council for a modest 54-square-meter extension. The expansion is intended to meet increasing demand for youth activities and potential educational services, particularly for children who are home-educated or out of mainstream education.

The proposed extension is designed to match the scale, form, and materials of the existing building to ensure a coherent appearance. Once completed, the additional flexible floorspace will also be available for hire by local community groups and for various community events.
