Bodmin schedules remembrance services for November

Bodmin will hold several services to honor military personnel and civilians lost in previous conflicts.

Remembrance Sunday, observed on November 8, will include a 7:20 am service at the St Lawrence’s memorial clock, followed by an 8:45 am service at The Keep military museum. A march will then lead to a 9:45 am service at the Priory Park war memorial, concluding with a march to St Petroc’s Church.

On Armistice Day, November 11, the town will participate in the ‘Routes of Remembrance’ event. This includes a 5:50 am gathering at Bodmin Parkway to facilitate sending a wreath to London.
