Bodrum FK coach calls for patience ahead of Muğla derby

Bodrum FK technical director Burhan Eşer has called for patience as the club navigates a transitional period in the Trendyol 1. Lig. Ahead of the upcoming Muğla derby against Muğlaspor, Eşer noted that the team is currently working to integrate new transfers and young players into a cohesive unit.

Eşer highlighted that the club has faced challenges in the first two weeks of the season, including a recent match against İstanbulspor where the team recovered from a 2-0 deficit to draw 2-2. To address squad needs, the technical staff has requested offensive reinforcements from the management before the transfer window closes on September 4. The team is also managing injuries to experienced players, including Ahmet, Celal, Ajeti, and Pedro.

Regarding the upcoming derby, Eşer emphasized a spirit of fair play and friendship between the two regional clubs, while maintaining that the primary goal remains securing three points. He also urged fans to support the young squad to help build their confidence.
