Bodrum hosts Economy Leaders Summit to explore year‑round tourism

The Turkey Business Magazine (Türkiye’de İş Dünyası Dergisi), part of Ihlas Media Group, organized the "Economy Leaders Summit" at the Xanadu Hotel in Bodrum, Muğla. The event brought together the district governor Ali Sırmalı, district police chief Mehmet Darendeli, TIM president Mustafa Gültepe, insurance broker Serdar Polat, Ihlas Media board chair Aslıhan Ören and numerous business leaders. Moderated by Celal Toprak, participants examined how Bodrum can extend its tourism season to twelve months by diversifying into gastronomy, sports, health, culture and congress tourism, and by improving the investment climate.

Speakers highlighted the town’s natural, historical and cultural assets, noting that more than one million domestic and foreign visitors already come each year. They argued that year‑round tourism would boost employment and strengthen the regional economy, and they discussed concrete steps for sustainable development and new partnerships.
