Bodrum hosts Turkey’s first international eFoil race

Bodrum hosted Turkey’s first international eFoil race from October 16–18. Organized by Efoil Racing Turkey in collaboration with the international eFoil Racing League, the event featured 28 athletes, including 18 international competitors and 10 Turkish participants.

In the general classification, American Justin Chait won the men’s category, while Dutch athlete Laura Jil took first place in the women’s category. The eFoil technology utilizes electric hydrofoils to travel above the water surface with minimal noise and wave production.

Organizers expressed goals to establish Turkey as a permanent hub for international eFoil racing and to support the development of young local talent in the sport.
