Bodrum hotel closes early amid unpaid wage disputes

An unnamed hotel in the Gümbet district of Bodrum has reportedly ceased operations prematurely, leaving both staff and tourists in a state of dispute. According to workers, the management terminated 63 employees without paying two months of wages and accumulated overtime pay.

In addition to the labor dispute, the hotel management has reportedly redirected guests staying at the facility to other accommodations before the scheduled end of the season on September 23. Employees have stated they will not leave the premises until their outstanding financial claims are settled.
