Bodrum Municipality Boosts Staff Digital Skills with AI and Risk Management Training

Bodrum Municipality conducted a two‑day internal training program aimed at enhancing staff digital competency and corporate risk management. The courses, organized jointly by the municipality’s Human Resources and Education Directorate and the Turkey Municipalities Union, covered internal control, corporate risk management and the use of artificial intelligence in local government.

The first day focused on improving the municipality’s internal control framework, aligning with public internal audit standards, and developing risk‑management processes. The second day introduced AI fundamentals, its applications in municipal services, and practical tools for data analysis, content creation and service optimization, with 69 employees participating. Training was delivered by public internal auditor and TBB trainer Kadir Efe Oruç, aiming to strengthen institutional capacity and promote more efficient, transparent public resource use.
