Bodrum Municipality to open Karaova Emekli Kafe in Mumcular

Bodrum Municipality is set to open the Karaova Emekli Kafe in the Mumcular neighborhood on Sunday, October 11, at 14:30. Located within the Mustafa Kallem Park, the facility is the municipality's second retirement-focused cafe, following the opening of the Pınaraltı Emekli Kafe in the Çırkan neighborhood this past August.

The facility, which was previously operated as a municipal cafe and wedding venue, has undergone extensive renovations. It will feature shaded seating areas, green spaces, a natural pond, and a decorative pool. In addition to a tea station, the cafe will include a library section to encourage reading and social interaction.

While designed to support the social lives and budgets of retirees through affordable food and drink options, the cafe will be open to citizens of all ages. The project aims to provide a local meeting point for residents of the Mumcular and Karaova regions, reducing the need to travel to the district center for social activities.
