The Turkish coastal city of Bodrum, often called the "Turkish St. Tropez," combines beach clubs, marinas filled with yachts and luxury all‑inclusive hotels with prices that are roughly 43 % lower than the French Riviera hotspot. A week‑long family stay can be booked for €360, while a four‑star all‑inclusive package costs about €590 per person, compared with a similar holiday in Saint‑Tropez that runs roughly €510 higher per traveller. Meals are also cheaper, with a three‑course dinner averaging €46 versus €68 in Saint‑Tropez.

Bodrum’s attractions include the ancient Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the historic Bodrum Castle overlooking the marina.
