Body found in search for missing teenager at Marloes Sands

Dyfed-Powys Police have confirmed that a body has been found during the search for a 15-year-old boy who went missing at Marloes Sands in Pembrokeshire. The teenager, who was visiting from Yorkshire on holiday, was reported to have gotten into difficulty in the sea on Sunday, August 30.

The incident occurred when three people were reported in distress in the water. While two individuals managed to return to shore safely, the boy remained unaccounted for. A major multi-agency search involving the RNLI, HM Coastguard, police marine officers, and various rescue teams was launched across air, sea, and land.

Authorities stated that the next of kin have been informed. Formal identification has not yet been confirmed, and the police have not specified the exact location or time the body was recovered.
