Body of missing 19-year-old found on beach in Tela, Honduras

The body of 19-year-old Rosy Martínez was discovered on Saturday on the shores of Tornabé beach in the municipality of Tela, Atlántida. Martínez had been reported missing by her family on Friday night in the Garifuna community of San Juan Tela.

Forensic medical personnel recovered the body and transported it to the judicial morgue for an autopsy. The results of the post-mortem examination are expected to determine the cause and circumstances of her death. As of now, authorities have not reported any signs of violence, arrests, or specific suspects related to the case.
