Body of Venezuela’s “Lady with Beautiful Nails” found after months

Cristina Margarita Ramos, a 71‑year‑old woman who became a national sensation after being rescued alive from the rubble of the June 24 double earthquake in La Guaira, was missing for weeks. Her family, led by daughter Crisnel Mata, publicly demanded help from the prosecutor’s office and the Cuerpo de Investigaciones Científicas, Penales y Criminalísticas (CICPC). On 6 August, the family announced that Ramos’ body had finally been located, though the exact site and condition were not disclosed.
