Bodybuilder Angel N. Sent to Tepexi Prison for Psychiatric Care After Killing Parents in Puebla
On July 25, 2026, 30‑year‑old bodybuilder Ángel N. murdered his parents, Ángel P. (70) and Luz María M. (54), in the Fuentes del Camino Real I subdivision of San Pedro Cholula, Puebla. He had escaped from a rehabilitation centre in San Felipe Hueyotlipan and was reportedly under the influence of a prohibited substance at the time of the attack, which he announced in a video claiming a “divine mandate.”
A control judge linked him to process for homicide in reason of kinship, femicide and attempted homicide (injuring a minor sibling). After initial detention at the San Pedro Cholula centre, psychiatric evaluations determined he required specialized care. Because the local facility lacked the capacity, authorities transferred him to the medium‑security Cereso de Tepexi de Rodríguez, where he will receive psychiatric treatment while his criminal case proceeds.
