Boeing reports record first‑half 2026 aircraft deliveries

Boeing announced that it delivered 314 commercial aircraft in the first half of 2026, a 12% increase over the same period a year earlier and the strongest semi‑annual total since 2018. The company handed over 64 jets in June, including 42 737 MAXs and 13 787 Dreamliners, as well as three 777 freighters and five 767s. In the second quarter, Boeing shipped 171 commercial aircraft – 129 737s, 25 787s, 10 767s and seven 777s – bringing the year‑to‑date commercial deliveries to 314. Defense, Space & Security deliveries totaled 35 units in Q2 and 65 units for the first half. Boeing recorded 121 new orders and eight cancellations in June, netting 113 new orders, and its six‑month order total reached 408. The total backlog for the 737 MAX family rose to 7,206 orders, surpassing the earlier 7,159 for the 737 NG. Despite the gains, Boeing still trails Airbus, which delivered 351 aircraft in the same period.
