Boeing launches $1 billion 737 North Line production facility in Everett

On 17 July, Boeing inaugurated its new 737 North Line at the Everett, Washington plant, marking the first time the company will build single‑aisle jets at that site. The $1 billion investment is aimed at modernising the facility, expanding workforce training and bolstering production resilience.

The fourth 737 production line will focus on the 737‑8, 737‑9 and 737‑10 models and is expected to raise monthly output from the current 47 jets in Renton to up to 52 jets once the line reaches full capacity. Initial output will run at a low‑rate ramp‑up to ensure safety and quality, with the first aircraft slated for delivery by the end of the year. Boeing executives, including quality leader Ramandeep Sidhu and CEO Stephanie Pope, highlighted the line as a “new chapter” that strengthens the company's ability to meet strong market demand.
