Boeing ramps up 737 MAX output with new North Line line in Everett

Boeing confirmed that its new "North Line" production line at the Everett, Washington plant entered operational status on 8 July local time. The fourth 737 assembly line and the first at the Everett facility is designed to lift the 737 MAX monthly output from the current 42–47 aircraft toward a target of 52–63, pending FAA certification of the MAX 10 and other regulatory approvals. The company has invested about $1 billion in the upgrade, is training roughly 1,000 staff—half transferred from the Renton line—and plans a gradual ramp‑up to avoid quality issues that have plagued the program after the 2018‑19 crashes and a recent panel‑blowout incident. Japanese carriers SkyMark, ANA and JAL have already ordered MAX models, underscoring international demand that the expanded capacity aims to meet.
