Boerse Stuttgart Digital completes merger with tradias, forming European crypto infrastructure leader

Boerse Stuttgart Digital and institutional crypto‑trading firm tradias have finalized their merger, creating a single regulated digital‑asset infrastructure provider with roughly 300 employees. The combined unit will operate under the Boerse Stuttgart Digital name, while tradias remains the brand for trading services. Co‑CEOs Christopher Beck (tradias founder) and Dr. Ulli Spankowski (Boerse Stuttgart Digital) lead the business, supported by Chief Commercial Officer Roman Schmidt, COO Jan Munz and CTO Dennis Winter. Headquarters are in Frankfurt and Stuttgart, with additional offices in Athens, Beirut, Berlin, Dubai, Madrid, Milan and Ljubljana.

The merger, announced in February 2026 and cleared after an ownership‑control procedure, aims to offer a fully regulated one‑stop‑shop covering trading, custody, staking and tokenisation for institutional clients such as DZ Bank, DekaBank, Intesa Sanpaolo, Société Générale, flatexDEGIRO and dwpbank. By consolidating complementary capabilities, the new entity seeks to become the leading European provider of crypto‑related infrastructure services.
