Boeun students recognized in national youth gambling prevention challenge

Students from the Boeun region were recognized for their participation in a peer-led SNS challenge aimed at preventing youth gambling and promoting voluntary reporting. Organized by the Korean National Police Agency, the challenge encouraged students to create images or short-form videos to raise awareness about the dangers of cyber gambling.

Out of the participants selected nationwide, 10 students from the Boeun area, including those from Boeun Samsan Elementary School and Chungbuk Life Industry High School, were chosen. Boeun Police Station Chief Choi In-gyu presented awards and prizes to the selected students to encourage their active involvement in student-led life education.
