Bogdan Petrović promotes debut poetry collection in Valjevo

Bogdan Petrović, a first-year student at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade, held a book promotion for his poetry collection, ‘Ne dirajte trešnje’ (Do Not Touch the Cherries), at the Valjevo Gymnasium.

The collection is the eleventh publication in the ‘Izvorac’ series, an edition established in 1992 to support debut works from gymnasium students. The book contains 30 selected poems spanning 80 pages.

Reviewer Dr. Marija Terzić noted the work’s sentimental qualities, comparing its tone to that of Branko Radičević. She highlighted the poet’s local patriotism and the collection's ability to bridge generational gaps through themes of roots and mutual support.
