Ran Takahashi joins Bogdanka LUK Lublin for Tauron Liga season

Bogdanka LUK Lublin has strengthened its roster for the upcoming Tauron Liga season with the high-profile transfer of Japanese outside hitter Ran Takahashi. Takahashi, considered one of the world's top players in his position, joins a squad that includes Wilfredo Leon and will be led by coach Stephane Antiga.

Reflecting on his move, Takahashi noted that the experience of Japanese players competing in foreign leagues, such as Italy and Poland, has been vital to the national team's recent progress. He described the Polish league as more technical and tactical compared to the physically dominant Italian league.

Club setter Marcin Komenda expressed a strong winning mentality within the Lublin squad, stating that the team aims for victory in every competition. Komenda emphasized that the group possesses a championship mindset similar to top international athletes who focus solely on winning rather than settling for second place.
