Bogor City socializes mandatory one-year preschool education

The Bogor City Government, through its Education Office, is conducting socialization efforts regarding the implementation of a mandatory one-year preschool education policy. The initiative aims to increase access and participation in Early Childhood Education (PAUD) services and strengthen cross-sector coordination.

Yantie Rachim, the Bunda PAUD of Bogor City, stated that the program is intended to support central government policies, specifically the 13-year compulsory education mandate. The socialization sessions, held on October 5-6, 2026, involved 200 participants, including PAUD teachers and committees from six districts across Bogor City. The program emphasizes the importance of appropriate stimulation for children aged 4 to 6 years to support their developmental stages.
