Bogor officials announce infrastructure and education developments

Bogor city and regency officials have outlined several major development initiatives scheduled for 2026 and 2027. In Bogor City, Mayor Dedie A. Rachim announced plans to begin construction of the Sekolah Rakyat in Rancamaya in early 2027. The facility is intended to accommodate thousands of students, specifically targeting children from underprivileged families across the Bogor Raya region. Land preparation for the site is expected to be completed by December 2026.

In Bogor Regency, Regent Rudy Susmanto confirmed that the local government is preparing early tenders for approximately 10 priority projects for the 2027 fiscal year. These projects, scheduled for bidding in December 2026, include the construction of the Bojonggede-Kemang (Bomang) flyover, estimated at Rp150 billion, and a seven-story Hajj and Umrah embarkation facility near Pakansari Stadium, budgeted at Rp142 billion. These efforts aim to improve regional connectivity and public services while adhering to anti-corruption monitoring standards.
