Bogor schools resume in-person learning after Anak Krakatau eruption

Schools in Bogor have resumed in-person learning following a temporary shift to remote education caused by the eruption of Anak Krakatau. The decision follows an improvement in air quality levels in the region.

Bogor Mayor Dedie A. Rachim inspected the readiness of SDN Duta Pakuan to ensure student safety and comfort. The city government had previously implemented distance learning on September 7–8 due to declining air quality in the Jabodetabek and West Java areas. Officials confirmed that current air quality index data indicates conditions have stabilized, though health protocols remain a priority in case of further volcanic activity.
