Bogotá authorities arrest ‘Negritoon’ for child abuse

Authorities in Bogotá, Colombia, have arrested a man known digitally as ‘Negritoon’ for the alleged storage and distribution of child sexual abuse material. The operation was a joint effort involving the Colombian National Police, the Prosecutor General's Office, and the U.S. Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).

Investigators report that the suspect managed multiple social media profiles with a combined following of over 50,000. He allegedly used these accounts to gain the trust of minors to illicitly obtain intimate content. Forensic experts identified at least 45 audiovisual files containing alleged real representations of child abuse. At least 11 victims have been identified so far, including two foreign nationals from Spain and Mexico.
