Bogotá authorities prosecute three suspected ‘Los Satanás’ members

Three individuals, identified as Emir Leider Orozco Duarte, Jonelio José Parra Martínez, and Yuslenis Zulani Barrios, have been prosecuted for their alleged involvement in extortion and armed attacks in the Bosa and Kennedy districts of Bogotá. The Colombian Prosecutor's Office (Fiscalía General de la Nación) has charged them with conspiracy to commit a crime, aggravated attempted extortion, and illegal possession of firearms.

The investigation details two specific incidents. On September 25, 2026, two men allegedly fired shots at a parking lot in Bosa, claiming to represent ‘Los Satanás,’ and subsequently demanded 100 million pesos to prevent further violence against the staff and families involved. A second incident occurred on October 4 in Kennedy, where a recycling warehouse owner was extorted for 40 million pesos and faced an attack shortly after receiving the demand.

Authorities intervened after learning the suspects were planning a new assault against a merchant who had refused to pay. The suspects were captured in flagrante and have not accepted the charges.
