Bogotá Botanical Garden launches July environmental program

The Bogotá Botanical Garden José Celestino Mutis announced a July agenda of activities aimed at connecting people with nature. The schedule includes guided tours of collections, thematic walks, environmental workshops, gardening activities, sensory experiences, and educational sessions about urban biodiversity.

Programs target children, youth and families, featuring botanical illustration, embroidery, crafts with natural materials, and discussions on climate change and urban expansion. Academic conferences and meetings for students and researchers are also planned, reinforcing the garden’s role as a scientific, cultural and recreational hub for the city.
