Bogotá donation points opened for earthquake relief

The Banco de Ropa del Minuto de Dios has established two donation centers in Bogotá to collect clothing and accessories for those affected by the 7.4 magnitude earthquake that occurred on August 10. The aid is intended for victims in the departments of Risaralda, Valle del Cauca, Chocó, Caldas, and Quindío.

Donors are requested to provide clean clothing in good condition, including shoes, belts, bags, and dresses of all sizes. To facilitate classification, it is recommended to separate items into bags for men, women, boys, and girls. Due to identified needs, prioritizing men's clothing is encouraged.

The organization specifies that for health and safety reasons, they will not accept used underwear, pillows, magazines, newspapers, deteriorated electronic equipment, expired food, or medications.

Open Monday to Friday (8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.).
