Bogotá faces scheduled power and water outages in mid‑June 2026

Enel Colombia will carry out maintenance and network adjustments that will cut electricity service on Saturday, 13 June 2026, across several neighborhoods in Bogotá, including Chapinero, Santa Fe, Usaquén and surrounding areas. Outages are planned between early morning and late evening, with some extending through the night into the following day. Residents are advised to disconnect appliances, limit refrigerator openings and allow technicians access to buildings.

The Bogotá Water and Sewerage Company (EAAB) will interrupt water supply on 12 June 2026 for 24‑hour periods in Engativá’s Palo Blanco, El Laurel, Bonanza and other districts, and for shorter periods in additional neighborhoods. The cuts aim to prevent larger pipe damage and include preventive maintenance and meter verification. Users are urged to store sufficient water, prioritize essential uses and may request tanker service for hospitals and high‑traffic facilities.
