Bogotá faces scheduled water supply cuts in multiple districts

On June 2 and June 4 2026, the Empresa de Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Bogotá (EAAB) will carry out maintenance works that result in temporary water service interruptions across dozens of neighborhoods in Bogotá, Colombia. The cuts, lasting up to 24 hours, are intended to replace valves, repair network ties, and perform preventive maintenance to improve the city’s water supply reliability.

Affected localities include Puente Aranda, Fontibón, Kennedy, Tunjuelito, Barrios Unidos, Rafael Uribe Uribe, Usaquén, Suba, Ciudad Bolívar, Usme and others. Specific streets and avenues are listed for each zone, with start times ranging from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. depending on the work. Residents are advised to plan for potential water loss during the specified periods.
