Bogotá hosts free Festival Popular al Parque and Festival Afro de Santa Fe in June 2026
The city of Bogotá will hold two major free cultural festivals in early June 2026. The Festival Popular al Parque takes place on 6–7 June in the Simón Bolívar Metropolitan Park, featuring regional Colombian music such as norteña, ranchera and carranga, along with local entrepreneurship zones and free entry for those over 18.
The Festival Afro de Santa Fe is scheduled for 5–6 June at the Terraza Pasteur shopping centre on Carrera 7, showcasing Afro‑Colombian music, dance, gastronomy and creative enterprises. Both events aim to celebrate Colombia’s diverse cultural heritage, promote local artists and entrepreneurs, and encourage the use of public transport and regulated crowd management. Security measures, age limits and logistical guidelines are in place for each venue.
Attendees can expect live concerts, dance performances, culinary stalls, educational workshops and digital coverage across social media platforms, allowing wider national audiences to experience the festivities.
