Bogotá hosts free Ibero-American Culture meeting 2026
From 15 to 17 July 2026, Bogotá will host the Ibero-American Culture meeting, a free three‑day event held at venues including CEFE Chapinero, the Virgilio Barco Public Library, the Cinematheque and the Gilberto Alzate Avendaño Foundation. More than 30 experts from ten countries—Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, Honduras, Mexico, Panama and Portugal—will present on cultural policies, heritage, digital culture, creative economies and international cooperation.
The programme features conferences, panels and workshops aimed at strengthening cultural cooperation across the region, promoting inclusive access to culture and supporting sustainable development through the arts. Registration is required to manage venue capacity, but attendance is free of charge.
