Bogotá hosts job fair with over 6,000 vacancies for youth

The Bogotá District Secretariat of Economic Development is hosting a massive job fair for youth this Thursday, August 13, 2026, at Theatron in the Chapinero locality. The event features over 6,000 job vacancies ranging from operational roles to specialized technical and professional positions.

More than 50 companies are participating in the fair, which runs from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The initiative, part of the ‘Talento Capital’ strategy, allows candidates to apply directly to employers without intermediaries. Participants are advised to bring their identification and an updated resume.

In addition to the job fair, the district has enabled over 16,000 total opportunities through a combined approach of direct employment and technical training. This includes the third call for the ‘Yes, Bogotá!’ program, which provides free English language training to improve competitiveness in the corporate sector.
